The life of Christ in the Church

The Church celebrates seven sacraments that shape and sustain our life with Christ and one another.

These sacraments begin our life in Christ and strengthen us to live as his disciples.

Baptism The beginning of life in Christ and his Church. Parents and godparents take part in a short preparation session. Eucharist Christ gives himself as food for the journey. Children prepare through Faith Formation; adults through Upon This Rock. Confirmation The strengthening gift of the Holy Spirit. Contact the parish office for the next youth or adult preparation cycle.

Christ heals and forgives us, restoring us to wholeness and peace.

Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick

Healing Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick

Reconciliation Mercy, healing, truth, and peace. Come during posted confession times or call for an appointment. Anointing of the Sick Christ draws close in illness, frailty, and need. Call the parish office to arrange an anointing at church, home, or hospital.

These sacraments call some to serve the Church in a particular way.

Marriage, Holy Orders

Vocation Marriage, Holy Orders

Marriage A covenant of faithful love before God and the Church. Contact your parish priest at least six months before the wedding. Holy Orders A sacrament of service for the good of the Church. Speak with the pastor after Mass or contact the parish office.

The Church accompanies us in death and commends us to God's mercy.
